What Men Really Think About Our Clothes? When it comes to fashion, most men could care less. Shopping? Same thing. Makeup? Not interested. But when it comes to how sexy a woman looks when she's all done up or just chilling in her sweatpants, men are all ears, or eyes we should say—they're visual creatures, what do you expect? They don't care about the hottest new fashion trends or how much a tank top costs (well, sort of), as long as it looks good on a woman and hugs her curves in all the right places, it's good enough for them. Common though, where's the fun in that? Men have to have a look they love on a gal, right? Here’s what we concluded after careful consideration: 1. Men Love Women in a T-Shirt and Tight Jeans Turns out the casual, au natural look isn't so bad after all. “It's sexy and shows off the curves, but still leaves things to the imagination,” says Rafael, an LA based designer. Emma from UK would also have to agree, noting that her husband prefers her most when she’s wearing jeans, a t-shirt and no makeup.

Five hundred years after Leonardo painted the most famous picture in Western art, new research suggests that his model may have been an expectant mother - and that he painted her for precisely that reason.500年前达芬奇·里奥纳多画了这幅当今西方艺术上最富盛名的画作,最新研究显示这幅画作中的模特可能是位怀女性——而这也恰恰是达芬奇创作这幅画作的原因。Mona Lisa is a puzzle and quite unlike any other picture of the time. In the materialistic culture of early-16th-century Florence, portraits weren#39;t an expression of individuality and character, they were an advert for wealth and social status. But far from being the height of fashion, Mona Lisa#39;s dress is utterly plain and timeless and, despite the fact that she is a married woman, she wears no jewellery, not even a wedding ring.《蒙娜丽莎》这一幅作品和当时的其他作品不太一样。 The mystery deepens when we learn that Leonardo never delivered the portrait. Instead, he continued to work on it for many years and kept the Mona Lisa by his side until his death on May 2, 1519. Rona Goffen, professor of art history at Ruttgers University, argues that although Mona Lisa began as a portrait, at some point its purpose changed: ;It was intensely personal to Leonardo, something that he would develop over the years entirely for himself.;罗格斯大学艺术史教授Rona Goffen认为《蒙娜丽莎》起初是一幅肖像画,但是在某种意义上却有了不同的目的:“里奥纳多倾注了强烈的个人情感,让他在之后几年里都在继续创作这幅画作。”If Mona Lisa is not a portrait, then what is it? Perhaps more than any other painter, Leonardo#39;s art is imbued with his scientific observations. His ambition was to discover the very source of life itself. Professor Martin Kemp, widely regarded as the world#39;s leading authority on Leonardo, describes: ;If you think that Leonardo, in a sense, saw this inside her body, then you suddenly realise, wow, that is how Leonardo looked at it. He thinks he#39;s really getting to the mystery of life, the cyclical nature of birth, maturity and death.;被认为是里奥纳多研究领军人物的Martin Kemp教授说:“如果你认为里奥纳多在某种程度上看出了她已经怀了,你就会猛然发现里奥纳多的视角原来是这样的。 The life cycle and the female role in creation is still only half the story of the Mona Lisa. The other half, often overlooked, is the primeval landscape in front of which she is sitting. Most people assume that this was a product of Leonardo#39;s fertile imagination, but there#39;s increasing evidence it was inspired by the landscape of his childhood, the Arno Valley. The two great lakes continuous, hydrological cycle all match Leonardo#39;s observations about how the landscape we see today was shaped by the power of water. Many regard him as the father of geology as a modern science. It is a distillation of all that he had discovered through a lifetime#39;s observation into the secrets of nature.

There once lived a lad who was deeply in love with a girl, but dislikedby the girl’s father, who didn’t want to see any further development oftheir love. The lad was eager to write to the girl, yet he was quitesure that the father would it first. So he wrote such a letter tothe girl: 原文: My love for you I once expressed no longer lasts, instead, my distaste for you is growing with each passing day. The ghost is supposed to be the spirit of a person who has died. Reports of seeing or hearing ghosts have been common throughout history — especially in ancient times and in the Middle Ages. Most modern people do not believe in ghosts, but they are interested in stories, books, films and plays about ghosts. And they prefer not to go into graveyards or deserted house at night. In most stories and reports about ghosts, the ghost resembles its living form. Many ghosts are transparent or shadowy. Some ghosts are pictured in long white robes. Many ghosts have the intention of doing harm or evil. But some ghosts are friendly. Ghosts with evil intention are usually the spirits of people who were murdered. They are believed to haunt the place where, in their real form, they died or were buried. Whole families may be visited by the ghost of a person that an early ancestor killed or injured, or even by the ghost of an ancestor. A ghost may try to reveal who murdered it — as in William Shakespeare's play Hamlet — or try to frighten the murderer — as in Shakespeare's Macbeth. A ghost haunts a place by screaming, groaning, making strange noises and causing doors, furniture, and other objects to move by themselves. In many stories and reports, a ghost returns from the dead without being called by anyone. In others, a medium(a person with special powers) calls the ghost back to earth. Ghosts are associated with darkness and night, so they usually end their visits by dawn, as the old saying goes, "Apparitions vanish at cock-crow." /200906/72869

It#39;s really no wonder we are obsessed with staying young. It seems to me that youth is equated with beauty, vitality and power, whereas old age is synonymous with the loss of such qualities. The general consensus is that we hit a certain age and it is all down hill from there. Or that there is a time we call the ‘prime of our lives#39; and before and after our ‘prime#39; it is all just struggle and suffering. So what#39;s this all about? When did we collectively decide to forget that we actually get better with age? Somewhere along the great evolutionary journey of humanity, we lost our reverence for growing old (which, by the way, is totally natural and something we all go through!). So, if I were to narrow it down to just 5 things that keep us beautiful, filled with vitality and power, it would be the following:沿着人类伟大的进化之路,我们不知在何处丧失了对衰老的崇敬(顺便提一句,衰老完全是自然发生的现象,而且我们都要经历!)。 1.Cultivate breath awareness. This, to me, is where meditation really begins. Meditation, leads to mental clarity (purifying and concentrating the mind…on what#39;s really important…in every moment.) This mental clarity then ignites our innate intuitive abilities, which enables us to make the right decisions. And finally, with this clarity and heightened insight into our individual truth, we harness the power to heal. To heal from within, bringing into oneness the body, mind and soul because our soul does not want us to be insane or ill!1. Hmmmm, this is a tricky one. Laugh…because it feels awesome! It sps good vibes everywhere and it promotes loads of yummy sensations and vibrations throughout the body. Yeah!2. 耶!3.Sing (or at least speak with passion and heart). If not sing, then hum, chant, cry out…just let it out. Don#39;t be afraid, there is no right or wrong. We are born with this beautiful instrument; our voice. We are meant to use it. Speak with love and inspiration…it#39;s pretty much the same as singing. Also, it feels good. Don#39;t hold it all in…let it out – it#39;s good for you!3. I can remember being told when I was younger and would make silly faces, ‘careful, if you pull that face for long enough, it will get stuck like that.#39; Well, in a way this is kind of true. We see it with age. Bad posture can lead to really deformed spines. Bitterness can lead to a permanently miserable looking expression on one#39;s face. As long as you#39;re alive, move. Even if it#39;s just wiggling your fingers, your toes and your nose…just keep moving. If we remain aware of our breath, it will always guide us, telling us exactly how the body wants to move in every moment. So, just trust breath and move around. Again, it feels good.4. 5.Love…it all. That includes and really starts with you! Make a conscious choice to love everything…the good, the bad and the ugly. It all comes from a loving place anyway, so loving it all, just keeps you more filled with joy, as opposed to hating it all, which will just make you old, bitter and dis-eased! Don#39;t we all just know it!5. So try to embrace these five things everyday and see if you feel any younger. If it works for you, sp the word, share the vibes and let#39;s all be a little happier and vibrantly alive! /201208/193798
